The suicide squad | Release date, trailer, what to expect and more

The new The Suicide Squad is Warner’s main bet on his universe of superheroes for this year. On top of that, it’s also the studio’s attempt to put aside the bad impression of the 2016 film, which was bombarded by critics and audiences. So much so that few names return from this cast. To this end, DC’s Extended Universe (DCEU) relies on James Gunn’s Midas touch to give the group of super villains the same success as with Guardians of the Galaxy at Marvel. And in return, the director gets everything he likes best: a chaotic, politically incorrect story with many unknown characters. And what do we really know about the film, its protagonists and the story to be told at the brief premiere of O Esquadrão Suicida? And most importantly, how did you start with all of this mess caused by the pandemic? Film gets shot, beaten up, bombed, and loads of jokes made (Image: Press Release / Warner Bros.)

The Suicide Squad: Cast Ever since the reveal that James Gunn would be directing the new movie, we saw that the cast would be pretty inflated. We already learned in the trailer for the film announcement that the group will consist of no fewer than 15 members – with the vast majority of them being film debutants. The only confirmed returnees so far are Harlequin (Margot Robbie), Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney).

They appeared in the feature film in 2016 and managed to escape unscathed from the film’s poor fame, which guaranteed them that return. In the case of Arlequina, this was more than obvious given the character’s success. We have some highlights among the newcomers.

The most important is the Sanguinário, which was inhabited here by Idris Elba. The latest trailer for the film showed that he must be one of the protagonists of the story and that the entire dramatic arc must revolve around his difficult relationship with his daughter and that his entry into Task Force X will lead to a story of salvation – so very close, even what we saw in the previous film with Will Smith’s Gunslinger. We still don’t know what he’s going to do in theaters as we’ve seen little of his abilities in the videos released. As in the comics, however, he was arrested after sending Superman to intensive care with a shot from a kryptonite bullet.

It is precisely for this achievement that Amanda Waller decides to recruit him for the squad. Another name that we will certainly hear a lot after the debut is Tubarão-Rei. The Flash villain has already appeared on the Scarlet Sprinter franchise, but the version created by James Gunn has everything it takes to win the audience over. Voiced by none other than Sylvester Stallone, the monster is a cross between a murderous creature and cuddly and naive. (Image: Press Release / Warner Bros.)

Check out the full list of characters who will make up the new Suicide Squad at DCEU: Amanda Waller; Harlequin; Rick flag; Bloodthirsty; King shark; Captain Boomerang Peacemaker (John Cena): a pacifist fanatic who says he can kill for peace and justice; Sol Soria (Alice Braga): character specially created for the film. Ball (David Dastmalchian): one of the first Batman villains whose powers were to throw balls; Rat Slayer 2 (Daniela Melchior): daughter of the original Rat Slayer, she was created specifically for the film and, like her father, has to control rats; Wise (Michael Rooker): an extremely intelligent villain who wanted to become a Gotham vigilante because he thought it was “cool and sexy”; Mongal (Mayling Ng): In the comics, she is the daughter of the space villain Mongul, which makes her an extremely powerful alien; Wiesel (Sean Gunn): a human weasel who, according to the movie trailer, killed 27 children; Blackguard (Pete Davidson): The villain of the Gold Guardian who has a very powerful armor. Just that; Thinker (Peter Capaldi): a lawyer who feels intellectually superior and develops a device that increases his intelligence and gives him telekinetic powers; Dart (Flula Borg): The villain of Green Lantern, who defeated the hero by spreading honey on him; TDK (Nathan Fillion): Another character that was created for the film. His power is to rip off your own arms. Since this is a somewhat bloated cast, it is very likely that we will see two groups on the screen.

The first of them will die in its original mission and will have to be replaced by the team that will spend most of the film on the big screen – this structure was actually quite common in the Suicide Squad stories in the comics. And to justify this character change, we have to have the big villain of the whole story: Starro, the giant starfish that showed up in one of the trailers. In the comics, he was the Justice League’s first major threat, and there was always speculation about when he would appear in the films – something that never happened because it was considered too ridiculous. And it must have been that quality that led James Gunn to put him in the film. The Suicide Squad: Trailer So far we’ve only released two trailers for The Suicide Squad, plus a teaser that introduced the characters and revealed who the actors will be playing them.

In the case of the first trailer, he brings with him the concept of the group – a group of villains recruited by Amanda Waller who blow their heads off if they don’t obey her orders – and shows that part of the team is going on a mission must save harlequin. In this video we also get a first look at the villain Starro. There is also an alternate version of this content that doesn’t expand much, but includes some new scenes – like the joke in which the peacemaker could kill as many men, women, and children as needed in order to achieve peace. The second trailer is more standalone and focuses on Bloodthirsty and explains how he brought down Superman, his family drama, and his relationship with Waller. Additionally, we see another formation of the group going on a mission while trying to figure out what the hell Doninha is – save this scene because we will talk about it again. The Suicide Squad: What to Expect The film’s official recap doesn’t reveal much about its story, but rather describes the mood of it all. “Writer and director James Gunn is back in superhero action-adventure, now with DC’s degenerate delinquent troop, in Warner Bros.

Pictures’ The Suicide Squad. Welcome to Hell, AKA Warner Bros. Pictures Belle Reve, the prison with the Most fatalities in the United States, where the worst supervillains are being held ready to do anything to escape – even join the super-secret and super-shadowy Task Force X, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Council Stalker 2, Sage, King Shark, Blackguard, Dart, and everyone’s favorite psychopath, Harlequin., And drops them (literally) on the remote island of Corto Maltese, in the jungle populated by opposing militants and guerrilla forces who are nowhere at any time, squadron members on a search and destruction mission , and Colonel Rick Flag is the only man in the world responsible for making you behave … off seen by the government engineers on Amanda Waller’s team, speaking into her ears, watching her every move. As always, just one wrong move and you’ll end up dead (whether by the island’s enemies, a teammate, or agent Amanda Waller herself). If someone were willing to bet money, the smartest choice would be against them all.

”From this description, we really cannot imagine what comes next with any more clarity of what is coming. The main theory is that the thinker has a relationship too the villain Starro, As mentioned earlier, the Suicide Squad comics always had this formation of two teams, one of which only existed to die and show how dangerous the mission was or what happened to those who tried to contradict Waller’s orders.

We saw something similar in the previous film and that is what will likely repeat itself here. So history should show a first team that is recruited for this mission at the beginning of the story. Basically it’s the group that shows up in the airplane scene in the second trailer or in front of the gang in the first clip. Rick Flag, Harlequin, Wiesel, Captain Boomerang, TDK, Dart, Blackguard, Mongal and Sage have to be sent to the island of Corto Maltese and everything goes wrong, most of them die. In this context, Harlequin is considered kidnapped. Amanda Waller forms a second team (Sanguinário, Bolinha, Tubarão-Rei, Rat Hunter 2, Pacificador) to save the clown and erase the traces of the Estrela do Mar project. who must have a connection to the villain Starro.

In addition, we should see a family drama with the bloodthirsty and his daughter, in which he tries to get closer to her and seek some kind of redemption. This seems to be evident in the second trailer when she sees her father on TV fighting a giant starfish. Another point we should expect from The Suicide Squad is its sour mood. We saw this work really well in Guardians of the Galaxy, where Disney’s heavy hand is still holding a few jokes and trying not to make the tone of the film any harsher. On the other hand, we have to have much more lazy mouths here and a very politically incorrect sense of humor.

Not to mention the violence, like in the scene where the Shark-Rei literally opens someone in half. And if the tone is like the trailers, you can expect a movie that delivers what you really want a Suicide Squad to deliver: loads of action, a bit of fake humor, and lovable characters – something like James Gunn. The Suicidal Squadron: Launch Date The new Suicidal Squadron is slated to debut in Brazil on August 5, 2021 and in the United States the following day. However, that doesn’t mean we’ll actually see the film on that date, as several states still have restrictive measures preventing cinemas from opening to curb the advance of COVID-19. Hence, everything is still very unsafe and it is recommended that you check the health guidelines in your area to see how it will be.

One solution is to wait a while longer to check out Harlequina and Rick Flag’s return on HBO Max. The promise of the streaming service is to make the new DC films available 35 days after they hit theaters on September 9th. In the US, it will be released at the same time as the cinemas. Is it possible to measure the information stored in the universe? For this physicist, yes!

The universe is very strange when we stop thinking about some of the most basic principles of physics, like the uncertainty of the state of particles until we observe them, or gravity, which is a distortion of space-time. It is therefore not surprising that some “crazy” hypotheses published by scientists make sense. And the new idea that information is the fifth state of matter is such a case.

A physicist named Melvin Vopson of the University of Portsmouth in the UK decided to quantify information by estimating how much information is stored in a single elementary particle such as an electron and multiplying the result by the estimated number of particles in the observable universe. Just from someone who thinks about doing something like that is impressive, even more so, moving the idea forward.

Scientists have long suspected a link between information and the physical universe, using various experiments and paradoxes to study how information can be encoded in physical matter. And when it comes to information in that context, it’s kind bit stored in particles and determine their properties such as spin, mass and electrical charge. In fact, some ideas link the entropy of a system to information from its particles.

We can also think of information as reducing uncertainty, since with particles we cannot determine many things like velocity (or momentum) and position at the same time. We cannot say Schrödinger’s cat is alive or dead until the box is opened, but once the box is opened it creates information and reduces uncertainty. In another analogy, text in a message reduces uncertainty about what to report; the more text (information), the less uncertainty.

These ideas are rooted in information theory proposed by Claude Shannon in 1948. In this hypothesis (somewhat complex, but important to understand information as a physical state) the entropy of a random variable is the average level of “information”, “surprise”. ”Or“ Uncertainty ”about the possible outcomes of the variable. The classic example is a heads or tails game. When we toss the coin (random variable) we know that there will be a result that can be interpreted as small information.

If the result is expensive, it has value to the, while the crown has a value of 1 – p. If there is no reason to expect a certain result, the surprise is worth it p = 1/2. In this case, regardless of the result, we have an entropy of one bit. But if the coin is “addicting” and you already know the outcome, it is worth it p = 0 or p = 1, and the entropy is zero bits because there is no uncertainty, no freedom of choice, no information has been added to the system.

If you are confused, calm down, because entropy is not an easy subject in any of its “strands”. Thermodynamic entropy (older than information theory) was introduced to characterize the degree of disorder in a system. According to Shannon, the information entropy relates to the uncertainty of the probability distribution. In the case of probabilistic uncertainty, the possible states and the probability distribution for them are known, but it is not possible to determine with such certainty what will occur. The more “spread out” the probability distribution, the more uncertainty it reflects.

Well, this whole tour of the entropy of information just shows how quantum systems can carry those “bits” that theoretical physicists call information. But back to Vopson’s work, the information entropy calculations were applied to the mass, charge, and spin of protons, neutrons, quarks, and electrons to get their estimate of how much information they carry. Then, using estimates of how many of these particles exist in the universe, he came up with an impressive (but not quite) number: about 6, followed by 80 zeros, in bits of information.

A comparison that shows how scientists understood in the 1980s that the three valence quarks of a proton (red, green, blue) only make up a fraction of the proton’s total spin. Recent measurements have shown that gluons (yellow spirals) contribute just as much or perhaps even more than quarks. The spin is considered to be one of the pieces of information stored in a particle (Image: Reproduction / National Brookhaven Laboratory)

This number is lower than previous estimates, but there is a reason for it. It’s just that Vopson decided to limit his calculations to the observable parts of matter, thereby excluding antiparticles and things like light bosons and very short-lived quarks that decay into other particles in a split second. Because such particles do not store any information, they only transmit it (in the case of bosons) or because they hold so little that an observation is only possible through artificially created experimental conditions (in the case of unstable quarks). “Therefore, their participation in the observable universe is negligible and their ability to record information, extrapolated, is also negligible,” wrote the physicist.

Like some other “crazy” (but reasonable) hypotheses, Vopson’s work is based on the principle that information is physical and is recorded by physical systems, “and all physical systems can record information,” he said. He had already suggested that information could be a fifth physical state alongside solid, liquid, gas, and plasma, and even suggested that information could be dark matter.

This Wednesday (20), Google announced that YouTube creators are being targeted by cyberattacks aimed at stealing their accounts through phishing scams from employed criminals.

According to researchers from Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG), who discovered the first cases of this fraud in late 2019, those responsible are being recruited from job postings in forums where users communicate in Russian, with promises of a basic payment plus part of the profit from videos of the stolen canal made.

Criminals used emailed social engineering tactics that directed victims to bogus websites simulating social networks or large platforms like Steam or Cisco to prevent this Phishing. When accessed, these sites infected computers with malicious agents designed to steal information used in credential theft and attacks. Pass on cookie (pass the cookie, in free translation) where the attacker catches Cookies Internet access of users and use them to access content on another device.

  • Nexus thief
  • Azorult
  • racoon
  • Big thief
  • Vicro-thief

In total, Google has identified more than a thousand internet domains with links to these attacks and at least 15,000 Youtube accounts specially created for this scam that contain links that direct those who access it to pages where the malware is installed .

Channels compromised in this campaign were renamed to be sites associated with top tech executives or cryptocurrency brokers (exchanges) and were used to spread crypto-asset market scams.

The Threat Analysis Group also claims that some hacked accounts have been sold in the credentials market, with prices ranging from $ 3 (about R $ 17 at current prices) to $ 4,000 (about $ 4,000 at current prices) depending on the number of subscribers.

According to Ashley Shen, security engineer at TAG, social engineering scams have been known for decades but are on the rise in 2021 as online service users adopt multi-factor authentication more widely, compounding the theft process. difficult credentials that require more effort to gain access to an account.

Shen concludes by stating that since May 2021, TAG has managed to block 99.6% of the emails used in these scams.
