Police in Garland, Texas are looking for a 14-year-old who they believe was responsible for a triple murder in a supermarket earlier this week.

The department added that it does not normally release information on juvenile suspects, but in this case “due to the nature of the crime and the potential risk to the public”. Acosta is classified as “armed and dangerous” by the police.

The police assume that Acosta open fire and killed three teenagers in the supermarket after being driven to the place that turned itself in by his 33-year-old father Richard Acosta. He is charged with capital murder.

Police had previously arrested another 14-year-old who they believed was the shooter but now believed Abel Acosta was the shooter and released the other 14-year-old who they say was cooperated with the investigation.
