Snapdragon 898?

Qualcomm seems to want to turn the page in preparation for what Apple is up to and possibly Samsung has up its sleeve in the form of the Exynos 2200 with AMD Radeon RDNA 2 GPU.

So instead of continuing the long tradition of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8XX processors, the company decided to change the way it changes its chips! With the next high-end SoC, which will most likely be known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. Interestingly enough, we can also welcome an even more gifted line of processors in 2022 called the Snapdragon 9 Gen 1, or alias Snapdragon 9XX.

Now you have to wait for the performance values, which indicate the latest ‘performance losses’ for at least seconds on a SoC that is far behind the Exynos 2200, especially in the graphics area.

Besides, what do you think of all of this? Are you waiting for the new generation of Android smartphones based on Qualcomm’s preparations over the past 12 months? Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
