However, in terms of performance gains and market changes, we expect an aggressive increase in the amount of RAM in today’s high-end devices, with LPDDR5X allowing up to 64GB per memory package. (Each chip is 16 GB). In addition, the new chips achieve speeds of around 8.5 Gbps per second. In other words, they’re 1.3x faster than the current high-end 6.4 Gbps LPDDR5 memory.
