Samsung: 45W chargers are finally on the way!

Samsung has spearheaded many of the innovations that have come to smartphones. There is one area where it has fallen behind, however. I’m talking about fast loading. While some manufacturers like Xiaomi have already marketed 120 W fast charging, Samsung’s top models only go up to 25W. However, there are rumors that this could change for the Galaxy S22. Now, new information shows that Samsung may launch new 45W and 65W chargers.

Samsung: 45W chargers are finally on the way!

According to the WinFuture website, Samsung will launch new fast chargers. The first is the Samsung Power Adapter Trio (EP-T6530) and the second is the Samsung 45W US Type-C Power Adapter (EP-T4510).

Samsung 45W

As the name suggests, the Power Adapter Trio has three connections. So it charges three devices at the same time. Of the three, two are USB Type-C ports. The third is a USB-A. The first one delivers 65W of power. The second and third, 25 and 15W respectively.

However, it is speculated that the 65W option is for Samsung’s Chromebooks and Windows notebooks. This is because none of the Samsung smartphones on the market support more than 25W.

Samsung 45W

The other model, however, offers up to 45 W of power and has a Type-C USB port. That has to be for the top smartphones from this manufacturer.

Does it come in the box?

Maybe not. Samsung no longer delivers chargers with smartphones in many markets. So if you want to get your hands on the 45 W charger, you have to buy it separately.

While the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 10+ support 45W charging, the other latest models, Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20, support 25W.

It’s good to see that Samsung is betting on faster loading speeds. It remains for us to wait for 45W and even 65W smartphones to reach.
