Would you like a notebook with good graphics performance? Well, NVIDIA is in the process of releasing its much sought-after RTX 3080 Ti in mobile format. The announcement is scheduled for January at the time of CES 2022.
But first, let’s understand what this graphics card is worth compared to the rest of the series and, of course, its namesake.
RTX 3080 Ti mobile offers high performance with a TGP of 165 W.
NVIDIA is therefore preparing a new solution for the world of high-end notebooks, namely gamers, with the introduction of the RTX 3080 Ti, the most powerful “gamer” graphics card in the RTX 30 series. (In case you didn’t know, the RTX 3090 isn’t actually a gaming graphics card!)
We are talking about a graphics card with faster memory than the current RTX 3080 Mobile (16 Gbit / s vs 14 Gbit / s) and apparently 7424 CUDA cores, which is far from the 10240 in the desktop version, but also very much a significant increase compared to the current RTX 3080 Mobile, which only has 6144 CUDA processor cores.
Unfortunately, we don’t know how large the RAM will be, but the TGP (Total Graphics Power) is expected to be around 175W, which is 10W above the RTX 3080.
Besides, what do you think of all of this? Are you excited about this new mobile graphics card or will it be another product that comes out at a simply prohibitive price? Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
Intel’s first “good” graphics cards won’t arrive until 2023
As you may know, Intel is about to launch its first series of graphics cards worthy of the name, this series that does not initially have the big goal of being the queen of performance! But yes, to offer a good alternative at an interesting price.
