Rising car prices are now affecting Ford

The auto market works very much like any other market on this blue planet. That is, the lack of material will obviously affect the availability of finished products and of course their final price. It is no coincidence that throughout 2021 we saw production problems at a wide variety of manufacturers that led to delays and an average increase of € 8,000 for new models.

This time around, however, we have a boost for the XLT and Lariat variants of the 2022 Ford Maverick!

Apparently this model of the huge blue oval is a very popular vehicle. Which in turn can be the main reason for the increase in certain finishes and variants.

The increases are not significant, but they are there!

Well, on average, the price increase for the Ford Maverick 2022 in the XLT and Lariat variants is around 221 euros, according to a Ford spokesman. In the details, however for the Maverick 2022 XLT, an increase of € 71 and € 328 compared to the Lariat variant is announced.

But things don’t stop there!

We have certain additional options that have also seen certain price increases. After all, the luxury package 54P Lariant Rose € 400, The Pack 54L and 54B XLT another 137 € increased, The CoPilot 360TM increases by a further € 100 it is that electric panoramic roof has an increase of plus € 177.

The truth, however, is that the increases were expected and a Ford spokesman mentioned that the new average increase “is in line with the rest of the Ford showroom”. That said, it seems the price hikes aren’t going to stop there.

So the truth is that Ford announced the reservation of more than 100,000 units of the new Maverick 2022 back in August. A very generous number that may have had a big impact on the new price changes.

In short, the demand and scarcity of components are theirs again. With new additions that may appear “small”, but they are there and will continue to arrive.
