Razer has teamed up with Fossil to bring a smartwatch to market

The world of wearables is growing incredibly fast, especially when it comes to smartwatches. Eventually, even Google decided to go back hard and ugly to its smartwatch ecosystem by partnering with Samsung again to bring out Wear OS 3.0.

However, while Samsung was playing with watches based on the Tizen operating system, Fossil was the brand that moved the most within the Google ecosystem. That apparently has now teamed up with Razer to offer a smartwatch with some “gamery” accents.

Hence, the Razer smartwatch is nothing short of a version of the Fossil Gen 6, with a few changes in design. We can therefore continue to rely on a circular dial, all the basic features of the original watch, the possibility of changing the strap, etc. …

As for the technical specs, we have a Razer x Fossil Gen 6 with a Snapdragon Wear 4100+, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, 300 mAh battery and apparently no Wear OS 3.0.

Now we can wait for the price … The original version of this watch is far from cheap, especially at this time of championship when there is no shortage of rivalry in the market.

Besides, what do you think of all of this? Do you see these partnerships with good eyes? Or do you prefer the original versions? Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
