Oppo is one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world and a brand that has done everything to fit into the space that Huawei has freed up, especially in Europe.
At the end of the day, if you go to a large Portuguese retailer, you will find Oppo equipment well known right next to the entrance. This is no coincidence, the Chinese giant is even striving to dominate the European market, where of course Portugal is located.
That being said, one of the best ways to get consumers’ attention is to be different and that way find interesting solutions to problems that sometimes consumers didn’t even know they had. Since this appears to be the case … In the end, Oppo appears to be developing a rear view camera module that can stretch and / or shrink!
Oppo has the solution to the ‘fat cameras’ problem
Most of the pop-ups are annoying …

So Oppo has released a little “teaser” which, interestingly, reveals a retractable module ahead of its big event “Inno Day” where the company is expected to showcase its first folding smartphone as well as other devices where, who do you know, we might find them Technology.
First of all, don’t be confused with the old technology that hid the front camera with “slide” or “pop-up” mechanisms, we’re talking about something completely different that has a strong impact on the thickness of the entire rear module of photography.
However, if you happen to be concerned about the durability of the mechanism, Oppo also showed what happens if the device is dropped. With the mechanism that tries to retract the cameras before they hit the ground.
Besides, what do you think of all of this? Is it a problem that you would like to see solved in the smartphone world? Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
