Are you a fan of 2 or 3 monitors on your desk, or a single ultra-wide or super-ultra-wide monitor? Well, LG seems to have found a solution for fans of multitasking and productivity with a single monitor.
In a nutshell, the point here is to focus on convenience of use and at the same time to use a significant increase in the real area of use. A new standard, for a new era! Let’s see what it’s worth?
LG has a super cool new monitor for productivity fans
So having more than one monitor or a wider model has its advantages. But it can also cause a headache, or … neck pain. This is exactly why LG developed and is now ready to launch a new monitor with the strange but strange aspect ratio of 16:18. We’re talking about the LG DualUP, which actually has two monitors that appear to be glued vertically.
It’s a monitor for programmers, content creators, or market analysts that allows you to view a lot of information side by side or vertically. To achieve this feat, we have a 27.6-inch screen with a nano IPS panel and a resolution of 2560 x 2880.
According to LG, DualUp offers the same usable space that two 21.5-inch monitors would offer, while making a huge improvement in ergonomics and ease of use.
In the rest of the specifications, however, we have 300 nits of maximum brightness, a contrast of 1000: 1, 5 ms GtG response time and still 98% of the DCI-P3 color space. This DualUp also has integrated speakers (2x 7W), 3 USB-C ports and 2 HDMI ports.
Besides, what do you think of all of this? Convinced of this bet from LG? Or would you rather stick with your old, trustworthy monitors? Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
