Intel is already playing with Samsung’s new SSDs! (28GB / s)

As we have done several times in ‘leak‘SSDs based on the PCIe 5.0 standard are about to become a reality in the’ normal ‘market. But even though they are not reaching our computers, they have already started to impress in more “pro” markets, as is the example of the world of servers and BDs.

After all, Intel has already bundled two of the fastest SSDs of all time (Samsung PM1743 PCIe 5.0) into one machine based on a Core i9-12900K processor. Can you imagine the speed? Probably yes, because I saw it in the title. Yes! I wasn’t wrong! It was even 28 GB per second.

So this machine from Intel should be the focus of attention at the booth of the processor giant at CES 2022. But with the fair now in the middle of the gas, it’s time to see some pictures of the machine that most likely no one will see. See, live.

Well, we’re talking about a computer made of a Core i9-12900K, which is installed on an ASUS ROG Maximum Z690 APEX motherboard, which in turn is equipped with a GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. But what is really interesting is even the performance of the two Samsung PM1743 SSDs, which are each built into a PCIe 5.0 slot.

All in all, any of these SSDs without RAID was instantly capable of 14 GB / sec. to deliver without major problems. But with RAID … The conversation soon changed when Samsung’s SSDs touched the theoretical 32 GB limit of the standard PCIe 5.0 (x4) when they hit 28,000 MB / s! Yes! 28GB / sec.! It’s madness. The future of storage is getting really crazy.

Besides, what do you think of all of this? Are you ready for all this speed Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
