Usually those using Gmail keep everything there. But what if we lose access to our account for some reason? What if we are penalized by Google and our account expires for life? At that point, we could lose everything including various credentials that may be stored in Gmail. In any case, it’s not a bad idea to back up everything we have in Gmail from time to time. It’s just that we are never surprised.
Gmail: create a backup now and rest assured!
First, follow this link to access your Google Account Management.
Then click on the left-hand side where it says data and personalization.
If we swipe down a little, we have an option that says the data will be transferred. As mentioned above, you can create a backup of your data so that you can use it in another account or service.
When we click on this option, we will be redirected to the Google takeaway page. There and below we have to select the dates to include and click on Deselect All.
In this list we have to look for the mail option and put a tick in front of it.
However, we can choose which data to export, namely all boxes or just some. Then just click on the next step below.
Then we come to the option where you can choose the shipping method, file type and size.
At the delivery method level, we can receive a transfer link by email, add it to Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive.
Then we just click on Create Export. But only by the way. We can export once or every two months for a year. This is good for a regular backup.
However, Google will start creating the backup. As soon as it’s done.
So you can transfer all photos to a microSD card.
