How we met
By the bride-to-be, Onyinyechi:

We met on my matriculation day in 2012 when he was friends with my older sister. I noticed that he was very playful during the event. I smiled at his jokes but didn’t let him see it.

He started visiting my hostel often to see my older sister. My older sister even attacked him with this question: “This one you always show, do you hope she is safe?” Lol

Fortunately for him, he came one evening, but my sister wasn’t there. We made small talk. I even told him he was a playboy and he said I was irresistible. We both laughed at the cheesy line.

I became more attracted to him when my older sister started saying good things about him and how intelligent he is.

I remember once he found me in the library without my seeing him and texted me and told me what I was wearing and what I was doing at the moment. That memory still feels so fresh and sweet.

My older sister started talking about him more when we were together. I don’t know if it was sent. She also mentioned how the semester results were and Alex got good grades.

So I met him a few days later and congratulated him on his grades and jokingly said that I need his success spell. He said he will take me there, I rolled my eyes and thought “how is he feeling?”

He called me a week later and said I should get ready, that he would take me to his magic place. I assumed it was a restaurant date.

We came to “Charme Place” and lo and behold, it was a place of prayer known as ADORATION. From that moment on I felt some kind of peace around him. Weeks later, I became his girlfriend.

Three years after graduation, we had stopped communicating when I met him again. This time I served (NYSC) in the state of Abia. As a decorator, he often goes to Aba to buy work items. We started dating again.

Five months later we had a serious argument because I’m an introvert and, on the contrary, he always wanted me to go out and party with him. So we broke up.

However, we realized that we couldn’t stay away from each other and decided to sort things out. Now we are here, ready to do this love thing forever!
