After several months of teasing, Doogee has finally confirmed the launch and price of its next high-end rugged phone, the Doogee V20. We’re talking about a smartphone designed to last, but with many “smart” extras, due to be available on February 21st.
Gone are the days of looking at a crude smartphone and finding it ugly or of little use. The V20 is a full-fledged smartphone that, of course, if it falls to the ground, instead of breaking, it will break the ground.
Doogee V20: The best “rough” smartphone already has a release date
Therefore, what is probably the most durable smartphone ever comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED (2400 x 1080) screen and a second screen on the back of 1.05 inches (similar to the Mi 11. Ultra). In addition, the device is based on an octa-core chipset with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS storage, which can be expanded via a TF card.
As photographic quality is very important in 2022, Doogee has bet for its V20 on a rear module with 3 sensors, of which the main sensor brings 64 MP to the table and supported by a 20 MP night vision sensor and another 8 MP Wide angle is supported by the sensor. On the front we have another 16MP camera.
In the battery section, we have a 6000mAh cell with fast charging support of 33W wired and 15W wireless.
However, since we are talking about a “rough” phone, here we have a waterproof, drop-proof and of course shockproof device. All thanks to its MIL-STD-810 certification that makes the Doogee V20 the ideal device for the most extreme environments.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Doogee V20 will be available on February 21st from Ali-Express, priced at $399. However, first-time buyers get a $100 discount.
