After the trailer, the highly anticipated sequel to South African drama “Happiness is a four letter word“Is finally out. It includes Nigeria Daniel Etim Effiong how he plays the role Maxwell in the recently published “Happiness forever“Movie now streamed on Netflix in 190 countries.
The film follows besties Zaza (played by Khanyi Mbau) and princess (played by Renate Stuurman) as they meet and invite a fabulous new friend to join their trio. An exciting story unfolds as the women struggle through even more interesting life dramas and dilemmas and grapple with relatable topics such as relationship stress, parenting and family tensions.
The film is set in some of the most beautiful and lavish places in Johannesburg. The original and new cast members made up of the talented group of Richard Lukunku (Return as Lion), Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, Yonda Thomas, Loyiso MacDonald, Xolile Tshabalala, Nandi Nyembe as well as Daniel Etim Effiong fans will have glued to the screens, amidst laughter and maybe even a few tears.
The story is written by Ayanda Halimana, directed by Thabang Moleya and produced by Bongiwe Selane, the movie’s creators all epitomize the fresh, nuanced approach to tales from the African continent that Netflix is looking for, and are testament to why the film is streamed to its 214 million subscribers.
