ASUS has its full line of ROG laptops for 2022. renewed

In order to have alternatives for every taste and budget, ASUS has not only renewed its entire range, but also decided to include models on both sides of the barricade, both in terms of processors and graphics cards.

In this way we have laptops based on Intel and AMD processors and of course combinations of graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA. But let’s start with the most interesting models!

ROG Zephyrus G14 and Zephyrus Duo 16

ASUS renewed

While the ROG Zephyrus G14 is an obvious continuation of the design philosophy of the series, one relies on a powerful laptop, whether for games or work, with an unusual design, super portable, but still in the “traditional” way.

ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is already “another beast” and relies on two screens instead of just one. In a way, it’s also a continuation of what ASUS is doing with the ZenBook Duo range and the Zephyrus Duo.

In terms of specs, the G14 has AMD Ryzen 9 processors, Radeon RX 6000S graphics cards, and a cooling system powerful enough to ensure the maximum performance of these components. In the area of the screen we have a 1440p panel that can reach 120 Hz with a ratio of 91% with respect to the body of the whole device.

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 has a simply incredibly high quality screen (Nebula Display), with 512 MiniLED zones, the ability to achieve 1100 nits of brightness, all in one QHD package, 16:10, and the ability to 165 Hz reach.

However, the secondary display on this notebook also has its own distinctive features as it is able to switch from a 4K 120Hz setup to another 1080p 240Hz setup.

They are two fantastic machines designed for the highest range of notebooks in the world. But ASUS’s bet doesn’t stop there.

Strix scar, G15 and G17

ASUS renewed

After the ROG models, we have the 15- and 17-inch Strix Scar and various display options. (QHD / Full HD, 165Hz / 240Hz / 300Hz). All models support Dolby Vision HDR and Adaptive-Sync.

In the area of processors and graphics cards, we have the option of a Ryzen 9 6900HX and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. Power is not a problem.

ROG Flow Z13, X13 and XG Mobile

ASUS renewed

After all, in the “mobile” world we have more sophisticated options. Especially with the ROG Flow Z13, a gaming tablet based on Windows 11, with an Intel Core i9-12900H processor and RTX 3050 Ti graphics card, a boy with the ability to get your hands on a 4K screen at 60 Hz or a Full HD screen at 120 Hz, both 16:10.

But if you want more performance, we’re talking about a range that is compatible with the XG-Mobile family of external GPUs. That means you can plug in an RTX 3080 graphics card and play whatever you want, however you see fit.
