AMD’s new graphics cards are going BRUTAL

As you may know, AMD is already putting everything on its new graphics architecture (RDNA 3), forgetting a little about the current graphics card crisis and the complete saturation of TSMC’s 7 nm lines.

After all, AMD produces everything in these lines, from processors to APUs for consoles to GPUs for its current graphics cards. Since TSMC can’t do better, it’s time to look to the future.

Well, with the next generation of cards, AMD won’t just rely on different lines for its new graphics cards to ensure a good stock. It will also implement innovative technologies that could very well transform the game and keep NVIDIA in check.

So, as you might have guessed, AMD is ready to go to war with NVIDIA! In the end, the RDNA 3 architecture will bring an MCM (Multi-Chip Module) design, a new production process (split between 6 nm and 5 nm by TSMC) and apparently the new 3D Infinity Cache technology.

Who says it’s the familiar Graumon 55, one of the most famous “leakers” in relation to AMD. We are talking about 256 MB cache per chiplet, ie with the high-end GPU we are talking about 512 MB infinity cache, which is stacked directly on the chips and is responsible for the super-fast communication between the chip sets.

Interestingly enough, Infinity Cache will also be featured in the next line of AMD Ryzen 6000 processors. It’s actually the 3D V-Cache technology that we could see at CES 2021. That said, a large amount of cache memory stacked right on top of the existing L3 cache. According to AMD, this “joke” is supposed to increase the performance of the Zen 3 architecture by about 15%.
