10 Spotify Tips to Use on Apple Watch

Spotify offers a full and fully interactive version of the music and podcast streaming app for watchOS with simple and convenient controls that work like a real app remote control on your wrist.

No matter where your Spotify account is playing – be it your iPhone, Mac, PC, iPad, Android, Smart TV, your AirPods or even another external audio device such as speakers or amplifiers – with the Apple Watch you can keep track of the current playback, the music volume control Explore and search your entire library, playlists, and more on your device.

Check out 10 awesome tips for the Spotify app to use on your Apple Watch below:

1. Control music playback

Directly from the app’s start screen on the Apple Watch, you have full control over the music playback, return to the previous track, jump to the next, pause or repeat the current track.

To do this, just click the play icons, pause, rewind or skip the track forwards. Wait a fraction of a second for the command to run, for example if you want to skip several tracks in a row.

2. Control the volume of your device according to the clock

With the app open on your watch screen, you can turn the Digital Crown – the round button on the side of the Apple Watch – to increase or decrease the volume of the current playback. You will notice that the volume bars on the right side of the screen turn red when the volume is turned up a lot.

It is important to note that with a Smart TV or external audio devices such as loudspeakers or amplifiers, these devices also have an individual volume control – such as the television remote control or a physical volume button on the loudspeaker – completely separate and independent of the Spotify volume that your Apple Watch is controlled.

A tip for these cases is, for example, to keep the Spotify volume on your Apple Watch at its maximum and use the volume control on your external device to decrease and increase it, or vice versa if you prefer.

3. Add tracks to the likes playlist

The current playback can easily be “liked” and added to your official Spotify Music Likes playlist. To do this, simply click on the heart icon that appears in the lower left corner of the main screen of the app.

If you’re playing a track that has already been added to your fallen song playlist, the heart icon will be completely filled in green, indicating that it is already a favorite song.

If you want, you can also “like” a favorite song, which will automatically remove it from your playlist with “Like” songs and the heart symbol will have a blank fill in black color.

In the lower right corner of the screen you can see the device icon that is responsible for the current playback in Spotify. The following symbols can appear:

  • A cell phone if it’s on your iPhone.
  • A notebook if it’s on a Mac or PC.
  • A clock when your Apple Watch is directly connected to your AirPods.
  • A television when connected to a smart TV.
  • A loudspeaker that symbolizes the connection to external audio devices.

Click the icon to see a list of all the connection options available in your area and select a device if you want to transfer playback controls to that device.

6. Download music so you can listen to it even offline

If you enter the “Downloads” option directly under the “Your Library” option, you will find all the music previously downloaded via the iOS Spotify app on your Apple Watch.

This way, you can listen to your downloaded music with your iPhone without an internet or even bluetooth connection, leave it at home and go for a jog, for example, with just the watch on your wrist and the AirPods in your ears.

7. Change the random and repeat modes

If you drag the main screen of the app to the left, you will find random and repeat modes that offer three different options, namely: repeat the same song when you stop playing, repeat the entire playlist when you stop, or without repetition. Just click the icons to change them right on your watch when you want to use these modes.

8. Browse your playlists

By browsing some of your playlists, you can use the Apple Watch’s Digital Crown to browse them and find a specific song that you know is more in the middle or at the end.

Once you find the song you want, just click on it to play it and the watch will automatically return to the main app screen and display the music playback controls.

9. Use the complication as a quick shortcut

If your display isn’t too minimalistic, it might be compatible with the Spotify app complication, so you have a quick shortcut to the streaming music and podcast app on your watch’s home screen.

Virtually all multifunction displays on Apple Watch have an area on the screen where you can add the Spotify icon, including Siri’s official information display.

10. Use complication with current reproductive information

Some displays also offer the Playback complication option, which refers to the Apple Watch’s native app for general media playback. When you add this complication to a compatible display, the information of the song currently playing in your Spotify app will be shown on the screen. This way you can check the name of the song you are playing without clicking anything, just turn your wrist and look at your smartwatch.

Black Adam | Teaser makes the hero’s absurd level of power clear

As promised, the long-awaited black adam finally showed up. After months of promises and little teasers from actor Dwayne Johnson, Warner Bros. released a short excerpt that reveals a little of what we can expect from the character on his big screen – including his final appearance, which with what remains a mystery until then.

According to Johnson, the film is still in post-production so there wasn’t much to show. Still, a teaser was presented with what appears to be the beginning of the plot. In the scene we see a group of explorers arriving at the antihero’s tomb in Kahndaq, which makes him wake up.

So in about a minute we’ll see Black Adam appear in front of the group in all his size and height, and with just one touch dissolve a man. Plus, it’s completely invulnerable to bullets and fast enough to intercept a shot in midair as if it were nothing. In other words, he’s able to do anything Superman can do, but without the moral constraints of the Man of Steel.

Visually, Black Adam looks like an even darker version of Shazam – which makes perfect sense since the character was originally born as the hero’s enemy and his powers have the same origin – with the iconic breast stud. The big difference is that the black costume has some embossed details that are very reminiscent of Egyptian inscriptions or something similar.

Also, the hood prevents us from seeing if The Rock’s face has any decorations. On the other hand, it’s pretty clear that the actor is huge and that he wasn’t kidding when he said that his muscles have never been as big as this time around. When it came to showing his strength, he was successful.

Justice Society and Khandaq

Warner also released another teaser during the DC Fandome that mixes backstage scenes, concept art, and some pre-made scenes from the film that add a little bigger dimension to what’s to come. One example of this is that there are drawings that show what the kingdom of Khandaq, the birthplace of Black Adam, will look like, and even glimpses of his life before he became the antihero presented to us, something in between a gladiator and a monarch.

However, what stands out the most about this miniclip is the involvement of the Justice Society, the group of heroes who will cross paths with Black Adam in the film. And while we don’t have the final looks of Hawksbill (Aldis Hodge), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), Atom Crusher (Noah Centineo), and Lord Fate (Pierce Brosnan), the logo of each of those heroes has already been revealed and set the stage for revelation that is still on the way.

The highlight here is on Brosnan himself. Aside from making it very clear that he wasn’t even 10 years James Bond in the franchise 007 were as great as anything Warner builds with black adam, we have a short scene of your character in the film that gives us a clue of what is going to happen.

Lord Fate appears to be responsible for awakening the powers of Isis (Image: Reproduction / Warner Bros.)

In the excerpt, Mr. Fate appears and reads Adrianna Tomaz (Sarah Shahi) who many believe is the reincarnation of Isis, the protagonist’s wife. If what is suggested is correct, it will be Brosnan’s character who will be responsible for awakening the girl’s powers and bringing the heroine into the modern age – possibly to curb Black Adam’s anger.

With all of this in mind, fans have nothing to complain about with the news that will be presented during the DC Fandome. Although everything is still very raw, the long-awaited feature has received weighty news that is a good illustration of what the film is supposed to present in terms of power scale, tone, and special guest appearances. Now just wait until July 29th, 2022 to see what black adam reserve us.

The Galaxy S22 line has released more renders with new looks and dimensions

The Galaxy S22 range has been the focus of several rumors in recent weeks, particularly due to a new look for the Galaxy S22 Ultra and smaller dimensions for the other two models in the series, the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22 Plus. Recently released new images confirm this information through 3D renderings and CAD drawn designs.

Images from the LetsGoDigital portal illustrate how the most expensive smartphone in the line should be. Contrary to previous rumors, the S22 Ultra is not said to have a module that connects all of the rear view cameras, and therefore the lenses must be attached directly to the rear cover. The change should only be aesthetic, because the placement of all cameras, sensors and flash remains the same as with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The information has been verified through the popular @ UniverseIce profile.

On the front, the Galaxy S22 Ultra should have a display with a heavily curved aspect on the sides, a feature that was toned down in previous generations of the phone. The selfies camera will remain in a hole in the center of the top of the screen with the speaker near the top.

One of the most important innovations of the S22 Ultra is the implementation of a special compartment for the S Pen stylus in order to attract fans of the Note line, which has not been updated since 2020. FrontTron Twitter profile, the new input is on the bottom of the device, closest to the left corner and near the lower speaker, USB-C input and microphone.

The @ FrontTron release also confirmed the dimensions of all devices on the line, with differences in the size of the three smartphones. The Galaxy S22 will be 145 x 70 x 7 mm (compared to 151 x 71 x 7 mm on the Galaxy S21), while the S22 Plus will be 157 x 75 x 7 mm (compared to 161 x 75 x 7 mm on the Galaxy) has S21 Plus) and the S22 Ultra with 163 x 77 x 9 mm (vs. 165 x 75 x 9 mm for the Galaxy S21 Ultra).

While the change in numbers seems subtle, it could mean relevant changes in the ergonomics of the devices, with a larger footprint and a screen ratio between 19.3: 9 and 19.5: 9 – for comparison purposes, the S21 range has a 20: 9 -Relationship. On the front, the S22 and S22 Plus should stay with symmetrical edges, but they may be significantly thinner.

With the new size, some changes are to be made in the battery aspect. The capacity of the S22 will be reduced from 4,000 mAh to 3,700 mAh, while that of the S22 Plus will be increased from 4,800 mAh to 4,500 mAh – only the S22 Ultra will remain with the same 5,000 mAh energy tank.

There’s no official date for the launch of the Galaxy S22 range yet, but it is possible that it will be released in January 2022, about a year after the S21 range was launched.
